Bangalore – March 10, 2016 – Tech Mahindra Ltd. a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering today announced the signing of an agreement with the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business to collaborate on data analytics driven solution design. UBC is a global centre for research and teaching, consistently ranked among the 40 best universities in the world.
The Institutions will explore areas of collaboration relating to co-creation and application of use-inspired knowledge and addressing the top problems of key customers.
The collaboration strengthens Tech Mahindra’s capability to address using analytics, a diverse range of business problems across industries. With the increasing adoption of analytics driven decision making, Tech Mahindra believes this will enable a closer alignment with its customers and in turn, enhance its abilities to make a positive impact across the value chain.
UBC’s Sauder School of Business is renowned for its expertise in the areas of marketing, operations, logistics and analytics. Its professors won the 2015 UPS George D. Smith Prize – a Global Award for universities solving industry challenges thru Analytics. Tech Mahindra Ltd. has a strong focus on business intelligence and big data analytics. Among its service offerings in the analytics space are various platforms like PRISM and accelerator tools such as iDecisions.

The agreement was signed at the Consulate General of Canada in Bangalore. Consul and Trade Commissioner, Mr Maher Doleh who joined the event, welcomed the agreement and reiterated Canada’s support towards enabling further collaboration between organizations in India and Canada.
