Tech Mahindra BPO honored as ‘India’s Most Customer Responsive BPO Company’

HYDERABAD, India, May 3, 2010 :Tech Mahindra, the new brand identity of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. (NYSE:SAY), a leading global consulting and IT services provider, announced today that its business process outsourcing arm, Tech Mahindra BPO has been honored as "India's Most Customer Responsive BPO Company" at the 'AGC Networks Customer Responsiveness Awards 2010', held at Mumbai on April 30, 2010. The award is partnered by The Economic Times, Ernst & Young and Nielsen. The award was presented by Mr. Ajay Maken, Hon. Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India, and was received by Mr. Vijay Rangineni, CEO of Tech Mahindra BPO.

Based on a robust methodology spanning over three months, involving an online poll, customer interviews and a jury meeting, the award carries tremendous credibility, and is one of the most coveted in India Inc. Nominated organizations are evaluated on parameters such as responsiveness, intelligence generation and dissemination, customer education, top management emphasis, innovation, learning and technology enabling customer-responsiveness.
