Mahindra Satyam and CollabNet Partner to Bring Agile, Enterprise Cloud Development and DevOps to Global IT Customers

BRISBANE Calif. – June 12, 2013 – Mahindra Satyam, a leading global consulting and IT services provider, and CollabNet® (www.collab.net), the leader for Enterprise Cloud Development, today announced a strategic alliance agreement to jointly develop and deliver Enterprise Cloud Development, Agile and DevOps solutions in the cloud services space. Mahindra Satyam and Tech Mahindra (referred to as Mahindra IT only in this document) will work together with CollabNet under this agreement.

CollabNet’s TeamForge ALM platform aligns with Mahindra IT’s vision to drive value for enterprise IT organizations via cloud-based approaches. Mahindra IT will resell CollabNet’s TeamForge® and CloudForge™ products and services, as-well-as its Agile training services throughout Asia.

Gartner predicts the total public cloud services market to cross $ 237 billion by 2017 (Gartner Forecast: Public Cloud Services, Worldwide, 2011-2017, 1Q13 Update).

“Software development and deployment moving to the cloud within larger IT organizations, provides a compelling case to have a technology partner who is a leading player in cloud based development initiatives,” said Hari T, Head - Business Value Enhancement Group, Mahindra Satyam. “CollabNet and its TeamForge platform provide the basis for Mahindra IT to offer a clear path to Agile and DevOps practices in the cloud - that is both open and flexible - yet meets the requirements of the most demanding of enterprises.”

Starting now, Mahindra IT and CollabNet will partner to bring cloud-based technical and service offerings to global IT organizations that are moving Agile, DevOps and other strategic initiatives to the cloud

CollabNet's TeamForge (http://www.collab.net/products/teamforge) is the industry's most complete and open ALM platform for developing and deploying applications by distributed teams. Enterprise IT organizations use TeamForge to manage multiple technology processes, commercial and open source tools, and deployment applications through a flexible, hybrid model of both cloud and on-premise deployments. CollabNet's global services team provides public and private training courses focused on accelerated Agile success, and it has more Certified Scrum Trainers than any organization in the industry.

“Partnering with a world-class technology leader like Mahindra IT will benefit both new and existing customers as we jointly develop technical and service offerings based on deep experience and knowledge of emerging enterprise software development trends,” said Bill Portelli, co-founder and CEO for CollabNet. “Mahindra shares our vision for Enterprise Cloud Development and how larger IT organizations can leverage the benefits of the cloud to develop and deploy quality software faster.”
