UNO – Desktop Automation Platform

In today’s dynamic environment, organizations are looking for end to end ownership of business processes to improve the business agility and enhance customer experience. To achieve the utmost efficiency and effectiveness, organizations rely on industry standard processes supported by best-in-class technology.

In area of operations, where process are predictable and fixed in nature, or when agents need to access multiple applications for issue resolution, we believe that Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can offer great potential for faster turn around, greater customer satisfaction, and lower costs by as much as 50%. UNO enables Robotic process automation and desktop unification to deliver lower costs, and enhanced customer experience.

Part of TechM’s CareXa framework, UNO improves efficiency by targeting faster and more accurate issue resolution resulting in improved customer experience and lower costs.

In order to improve upon these areas, we have built a Robotic Process Automation platform, UNO. UNO tracks issues and reduces the time an agent takes to resolve issues in operations. It also reduces average handling time by 20% - 30%. In case of any failure in performing a transaction, UNO will send an automated alert to agent or his supervisor about the impediment and once impediment is removed, automation will progress for resolution. UNO is built by an experienced team and has two main components

  • Robotic Process Automation for back office operation
  • Unified Desktop

UNO, as part of the desktop automation performs:

  • Complete Automation of tasks
  • Partial Automations where cognitive input is needed
  • Audit logs – whatever is handled, the details of those transactions shall be automatically captured

Desktop Automations 

UNO has a user friendly screen for agents to access all the applications through a single screen. Unified Desktop has the following features:  

  • Desktop unification – to allow users to access all applications through a single screen. Agents need not individually open or access the applications.
  • Auto Login – would be able to login into applications automatically with the preconfigured credentials of the user.
  • Auto Tracker – allows agents to track the transaction

Unified Desktop 

  • Standalone, secure, simple user interface. Deployed on an agent’s desktop
  • Robotic process automation to automate manual process (e.g.; monotonous repetitive tasks) without an agent intervention.
  • Launch multiple applications through a single screen and allow agents to operate with ease.
  • No integration with applications used for resolution.
  • Simplifies agent activities and streamlines processes to deliver increased productivity.
