Network Inventory Alignment

In an increasingly competitive market, a crucial factor to ascertain a Telco's adaptability lies in accurate alignment of it's inventory. On one hand, this reduces OPEX expenditure by optimizing operations and on the other, it saves valuable CAPEX investment. Inventory data travelling through the heterogeneous OSS model tend to get misaligned across various service delivery, service assurance, port allocation systems and the Network. The Port, Access and CPE information available in the order management and fulfilling systems differs from the actual network and in some cases, the Port, CPE and Access information which is available in the OSS systems are not even present in network interface systems, billing & invoicing and vice versa.
