The company’s existing environment was inhibiting its ability to progress its growth agenda at a critical juncture when they intended to revise the models, leverage emerging technologies and optimize internal processes.

The key issue facing the company was that the business processes were not standardized and consolidated reports were not produced on a timely basis, lacking important decision-making information. The client wanted to implement an effective SAP ERP system and achieve steady state within 2 years.

Our solution

Tech Mahindra implemented an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) that covers Financial Management, Supply Chain, Business Analytics using SAP.

Given the large scale ERP Implementation and therefore to minimize implementation risk, Tech Mahindra selected a multi-phased approach. Combinations of rollout sites were carefully selected to ensure minimal business disruption yet efficient and comprehensive implementation. We started the engagement with implementation of various modules such as SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Enterprise Portal, Supply Chain Management, Business Consolidation , Business Intelligence and Business Objects for a period of 16 months.

This was a complex engagement done in a Big-Bang approach with average team size of 150+ consultants and scope spanning across all major business areas in SAP involving – Financial Accounting, Governance, Risk, and Compliance , Global Trade Services , Order to Cash, Plan to Fulfil, Procure to Pay and included most of the new dimension products.
