The challenge was transforming the city which is Asia’s richest Municipal Corporation with thriving industrial belt with over 6,000 industrial units into a Smart Sustainable City.

  • City Network (Active): converged network, bringing together different city management on a common network infrastructure
  • City Surveillance: to ensure public safety, prevent crimes and maintain law & order
  • Smart Water: Generate water bills by integrating smart meter data from Smart Water Meters with existing Water Billing Application
  • An integrated sewer supply system and lifecycle management of Sewage Network from COC to monitor the quality of treatment
  • Establish Intelligent Traffic Management
  • Platform and dashboard to gather and analyze various multi-structured data generated by the citizens via multiple platforms
  • Create a real time user friendly single window service delivery system in the city

Impact

Better traffic management, reducing travel time, avoiding rush areas, etc along with real-time update to citizens on dues to avoid any penalties and understanding the voice of the citizens through initiatives like citizen engagement cell.
