Tech Mahindra Launches BSS Platform for New Telcos Entering the Market

India – May 17, 2013 – Tech Mahindra Limited, a specialist provider of solutions and services to the telecommunications industry, today announced that it had jointly participated with Microsoft Corp. in the recently concluded TM Forum’s Management World 2013 in France, Nice from 13th to 16th May. This is part of a larger 360¬¬o initiative across both the companies that cover areas of R&D, Professional Services, Systems Integration and a joint go-to-market plan.

Tech Mahindra has successfully incorporated Microsoft Dynamics CRM into its existing portfolio of B/OSS solutions to come up with an expanded suite of pre-packaged IT platform – “jumpStartTelco: WBB eXpress” that combines the company’s leadership in delivering innovation. Pritam Parvatkar - Global Head, Alliances said “The WBB eXpress solution is yet another testimonial of Tech Mahindra’s strong leadership in the Telco domain. The relationship with Microsoft puts us in a commanding position to meet the needs of a cost effective, functionally rich solution for the Wireless broadband players globally” .  

As the communication industry steps into the digital era, it has become imperative for communication service providers (CSPs) to manage not only voice but also data traffic for growth and better return on investments. However, most CSPs struggle with challenges, such as, quicker service launch and budgetary constraints.

JumpStartTelco: WBB eXpress helps ensure faster time to market for CSPs on account of it being a ‘Right-Fit' Converged Wireless Broadband BSS Platform. It helps enable Next Generation services and better operational efficiency for both new players as well as for existing businesses looking to upgrade their service offering portfolio.

Tech Mahindra has also built an in-house, state-of-the-art Microsoft Dynamics CRM Lab in India, to help provide best in class customer care solutions around BSS offerings to CSPs at lower total cost of ownership.
