Tech Mahindra in S&P Global Top 1% for IT Sustainability 2026

Tech Mahindra Recognized in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 Amongst Top 1% Organizations in IT Services Industry

Tech Mahindra (NSE: TECHM), a leading global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions to enterprises across industries, announced its inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, earning the Top 1% distinction in the IT Services industry. The recognition is based on the company’s strong performance in the 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), where Tech Mahindra achieved a score of 91 out of 100, as of October 23, 2025.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook highlights organizations that demonstrate outstanding performance in corporate sustainability within their respective industries. In the latest assessment cycle, over 9,200 companies across 59 industries were evaluated for the 2025 CSA, with only 848 companies globally selected for inclusion in the 2026 Yearbook. Tech Mahindra is one of only two organizations worldwide in the IT Services industry to be recognized in the Top 1% category, underscoring its leadership in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Sandeep Chandna, Chief Sustainability Officer, Tech Mahindra, said, “As enterprises across industries accelerate their sustainability journeys, measurable and transparent ESG performance is becoming a defining benchmark for long-term business resilience. Being recognized among the Top 1% in the IT Services industry in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 is a strong validation of Tech Mahindra’s sustained commitment to responsible growth. The recognition reflects the consistent progress we have made across climate action, governance, human capital development, and sustainable digital innovation.”

Tech Mahindra’s inclusion in this distinguished category reflects the organization’s consistent and measurable progress across critical ESG parameters, including climate action and decarbonization, governance and ethical business practices, human capital development, diversity and inclusion, and sustainable digital innovation. The recognition reinforces Tech Mahindra’s long-term commitment to embedding sustainability across its operations and delivering responsible technology-driven solutions to its global customers. The organization remains firmly committed to achieving its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-approved Net Zero target by 2035. By leveraging technology, innovation, and responsible business practices, Tech Mahindra aims to deliver sustainable outcomes for its stakeholders while creating long-term value for clients, investors, employees, and communities.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook distinctions are determined by benchmarking each company’s CSA score against the top-performing organization within its industry. Companies must achieve a minimum CSA score of 60 and fall within 1% of the industry’s highest score to qualify for the Top 1% distinction, making the recognition both rigorous and industry specific.
