While this auto manufacturer collected volumes of customer focus-group data across its business, the data took various formats and relied on human analysis to make it actionable. This process took time, and the insights could be subjective. This global automaker selected Tech Mahindra to implement a GenAI-based solution to reduce manual errors and analysis subjectivity, and to summarize findings with citations.
Building a solution on Google Cloud using Google Gemini models on Vertex AI, Tech Mahindra helped the auto manufacturer reduce the time it took to generate high-quality insights by 70% — from months to weeks. The use of Google Gemini models, with their large context window and multi-modal capabilities, ensured accurate and comprehensive analysis of various input types like videos, images, and audio files. By automating the analysis process, the auto manufacturer market insights team was able to pivot its focus from manual data analysis to provide rapidly synthesized insights to company executives.

Another Tech Mahindra client, a home appliance manufacturer, is a well-known global home brand with a large, linguistically-diverse workforce. In multiple factory locations and across the company, employees speak more than 40 languages. At times, language differences could create challenges, especially when supervisors struggled to effectively communicate business directions and set daily objectives, impacting operational efficiency and employee engagement. There was a need for a secure, scalable AI-based solution to help bridge communication gaps, improve safety, and create a better work environment for employees.
Tech Mahindra developed a comprehensive solution leveraging modern technologies, like FlutterFlow for mobile application development, and Google Cloud for backend infrastructure, along with Gemini 1.5, Vertex AI, Firebase, and Google’s Identity and Access Management. The solution included a user-friendly mobile application to translate daily announcements into multiple languages, enabling workers to clearly understand their tasks. Workers could now easily ask questions in their preferred language and receive responses that were both relevant and comprehensible. The improvement in communication led to better employee understanding of priorities and workplace safety, and a stronger sense of connection. This has, in turn, increased operational efficiency and reduced misunderstandings on the production line for the home appliance manufacturer.
