New General Manager At SOFGEN APAC

With effect from 9 January 2019, Shubhangi Deshpande is appointed General Manager, SOFGEN APAC.
Shubhangi has over 25 years of experience in BFSI. In her previous stints, she has actively played Regional Head role for last 10 years spanning across Australia, Greater China, ASEAN, South Asia, Middle East and Europe.
She joins SOFGEN from Oracle FSGBU (OFSS) where she was Regional Head for JAPAC & ME for Financial Services Consulting group, managing a P&L for the region with a team of 350 + members. Prior to that she was SVP & Regional Head for Virtusa and Regional Head for Intellect Design Arena for Core Banking, Transaction banking and Investment banking products. She had stint with SunGard as VP-Sales for Asia leading post trade solutions such as GMI, Clearvision, Phase3, FAME, Marketmap, Intellimatch etc. She had started her Banking career with CITIL/iflex (Now Oracle FSGBU) with Product and consulting around FLEXCUBE core and universal banking system.
Shubhangi will be in charge of managing SOFGEN/Tech Mahindra’s Core Banking and Wealth consulting business in APAC and reports to Ravi Vasantraj, Global Head Core Banking and Wealth, Tech Mahindra.
